The facilities in the Primary Music Room consist of class sets of Orff instruments, which include xylophones and unpitched percussion instruments. Additional instruments include African drums, drum boxes, keyboards and a drum kit. Students are encouraged to play their orchestral instrument in class lessons. Students also use the interactive whiteboard during lessons. The primary music room is also fully equipped with professional sound and lighting equipment for performances and concerts.

The Music Department accommodation is comprised of one very large music room that is equipped with 10 iMacs with Sibelius 6, Garage band, Musician and Sibelius Instruments software. The room is used for general music teaching so there is an ample supply of electronic keyboards and digital pianos as well as a baby grand piano. There is also a wide range of percussion instruments for class and orchestral use.
