 Electrical Engineering is the discipline which involves technical and intellectual concepts related to all types of machineries and its simulation. So, the students are required to open up their mind beyond technical limits. For this the faculties are required to make the students realize the importance of conceptual ability by relating with the technical fields such as industries, power plants, etc. Department of Electrical  Engineering has always been in the forefront of providing quality need - based training in contemporary and emerging areas and development of demand driven and innovative instructional resources.

 
Objectives

On successful completion of the undergraduate courses students should be able to:

1.

Understand basic principles in electrical and electronic engineering and apply analytical and numerical techniques to the solution of a wide range of engineering problems;

2.

Apply software, hardware and CAD skills to engineering projects;

3. Appreciate engineering constraints in design from a knowledge of the underlying physical principles;
4.
Make effective use of both oral and written skills and apply Information Technology in learning, research and the presentation of reports and assignments;
5. Work effectively as a member of a team with common objectives, and have an understanding of professional responsibilities;
6.
Apply the transferable skills acquired throughout the degree course in their future careers. In addition, students who successfully complete the degree course should be able to:
